HB205 VACANT RURAL BUILDING ACT
House Bill 205 (HB 205) enacts the Vacant Rural Building Act. It directs the adoption of a building code variance applicable to the occupancy of a vacant commercial building by a small business that will reduce compliance costs, encourage rural economic development, and protect public safety.  HB 205 provides powers and duties and prohibits a municipality from enacting contrary ordinances.
